BG H2 Society (BGH2)
BG H2 Society is a volunteer, independent, non-governmental formation, registered under the Law on the Non-profit Corporate Bodies, which uses the civil and public principles, integrating leading scientists with legislators, authorities, managers, and sponsors to help incorporate the scientific and technological progress in the field of the advanced energy technologies.
The BG H2 Society was founded in the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy under the auspices of the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense, with the participation of the Institute of Electrochemistry and Energy Systems, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The BG H2 Society is a key partner of the Bulgarian Ministry of Energy and Economics, the Ministry of Environment and Waters and the Ministry of Education. BG H2 Society provides contract research in the field of energy technology, nanotechnology and new materials. Since 2004, BGH2 has been a member of the European Hydrogen Association (EHA). BG H2 is a partner in the EURATOM FP6-036367 project ” A deterministic model for corrosion and activity incorporation in nuclear power plants” (ANTIOXI, 2006-2008).
