AREVA NP (former Framatome ANP) is an AREVA group company dedicated to the design and construction of nuclear power plants and research reactors, engineering, instrumentation & control, modernization the maintenance and repair services, components manufacture and supply of nuclear fuel. Headquartered in Paris with regional subsidiaries in the U.S. and Germany, AREVA NP has a total workforce of 14,200 employees and is active in Eastern and Western Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa. In the company, AREVA has a 66% stake and Siemens 34%.
AREVA NP offers experience, R&D, and unparalleled innovation and expertise in engineering, major project management, fuel, equipment and services supply for all reactors technologies, primarily for PWRs and BWRs.
Serving as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), AREVA NP has built about 100 nuclear plants in 11 countries that provide about 30% of the world's total installed nuclear power capacity and its experienced resources remain focused on the local needs of individual clients, wherever in the world they may be.
Leading expertise areas of AREVA NP GmbH to be deployed in PERFORM 60 are project management, materials and component integrity issues, multidimensional numerical FEM simulations and advanced analytical tools, high-level testing and measurement facilities and qualification and harmonisation of standards. Moreover, AREVA AN GmbH has a long tradition of active participation in European FP projects, networks and national research projects covering structural integrity issues.

AREVA NP Germany participated over the last 15 years in different European and international Framework projects (e.g. VOCALIST, NESC, NULIFE) and also is involved within international working groups (e.g. AMES, IGRDM).
AREVA NP Germany was a core member in the EU FP6 project PERFECT, where experimental and analytical contributions to different work packages were performed. The WP3 was lead by AREVA NP Germany.
